You can cut out any section or the entire main subject of your image, then layer content underneath it, including solid colors, smooth gradients, or another image, to create polished layered visual effects.
Mavi keeps your workflow fast and simple with instant previews that let you adjust your design as you go. When you are happy with your creation, you can export files in different sizes for different platforms.

This Privacy Policy explains how Mavi collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our creative design app. Your privacy and your creative ownership are important to us, and this policy describes how we protect your information while you create designs with Mavi.
Important Face Data Notice: Mavi does not collect, process, store, retain, disclose, sell, or share any face data or biometric information. Mavi does not use facial recognition, face detection, face tracking, face scanning, facial geometry analysis, ARKit, TrueDepth API, or any similar face-related technology.
Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide a simple, reliable, and privacy-conscious creative design experience.
Personal Information
We only collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it to us. This may include your email address when you contact us for support, send feedback, or communicate with our team. We do not collect personal information without your knowledge.
Your Creative Content
When you use Mavi to create designs, you may select images from your photo library or capture images with your camera. These images are used only so you can manually create cutouts, apply preset shapes, draw freehand cutout paths, build layered compositions, preview your edits, and export finished design files.
All image editing operations, including cutout creation, shape selection, layer composition, preview generation, and export, are performed locally on your device. Mavi does not upload your photos, unfinished projects, or finished designs to our servers for processing or storage.
Mavi does not extract, analyze, identify, recognize, collect, process, store, or share any biometric information, facial geometry, facial features, face templates, face maps, or face data from your images.
Anonymous Usage Data
We may collect non-identifiable usage data to help improve Mavi. This may include information such as which features are used, device type, app performance information, preview loading performance, export frequency, and general interaction patterns.
This data is used only to improve app stability, optimize creative workflows, fix bugs, and improve user experience. Anonymous usage data is not used to identify you or to analyze any face, person, or biometric characteristic in your images.
Face Data and Biometric Information
Mavi does not collect, process, store, retain, disclose, sell, or share any face data or biometric information.
Mavi is a creative design tool that allows users to manually edit images by applying preset cutout shapes, such as circles, squares, and hexagons, or by drawing custom freehand cutout paths. The app does not use facial recognition, face detection, face tracking, face scanning, facial geometry analysis, identity verification, ARKit, TrueDepth API, or any similar face-related technology.
Camera and photo library access are used only to let users import images into the app for manual creative editing. The app does not identify whether a person or face appears in an image, does not generate face templates or face maps, and does not use any image content to identify, authenticate, profile, or track users.
Because Mavi does not collect any face data, there is no face data to use, store, retain, disclose, sell, share with third parties, or transfer to any external service.
Since no face data is collected or generated by Mavi, there is no retention period for face data. No face data is stored locally by Mavi for biometric purposes, stored on our servers, or retained by any third-party service on our behalf.
Camera and Photo Library Access
Mavi may request access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to capture or import an image for creative editing.
- Camera access: Used only to allow you to take a photo and bring it into Mavi for manual design editing.
- Photo library access: Used only to allow you to select an existing image from your device for manual creative editing and export.
Camera and photo library access are not used to collect face data, identify people, perform facial recognition, analyze facial features, or create biometric identifiers.
How We Use Your Information
We use information only for the purposes described below:
- To enable local creative editing features, including manual cutout creation, preset shape selection, freehand cutout drawing, layered composition, instant preview, and design export.
- To improve Mavi’s performance, stability, and usability through anonymous and non-identifiable usage data.
- To respond to your support requests, feedback, or other communications.
- To maintain app security, prevent abuse, and protect the reliability of Mavi.
We do not use images, photos, or design content to detect faces, recognize individuals, create biometric identifiers, analyze facial geometry, build face templates, or collect face data.
Ownership of Your Creative Work
All creative work you create with Mavi belongs to you. Your imported images, custom cutouts, layered compositions, exported files, profile avatars, posters, social media covers, and other finished designs remain your property.
We do not claim ownership of your creative content. Your images and designs are not used by Mavi for advertising, training datasets, biometric analysis, facial recognition, or user profiling.
Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or creative content to third parties.
Mavi does not share user images, design files, face data, biometric information, facial geometry, facial features, or face templates with third parties. Because Mavi does not collect face data, no face data is disclosed, sold, transferred, or made available to any service provider or external party.

- With your consent: If you choose to share an exported design through your device’s own sharing options, that sharing is controlled by you.

Data Storage and Security
Mavi is designed to process creative editing tasks locally on your device. Photos selected from your photo library, images captured through your camera, unfinished design projects, cutout paths, layers, previews, and exported design files are not uploaded to Mavi servers for processing or storage.
Your imported images and created designs remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them through your device’s own sharing options. Mavi does not store user images, design files, or face data on our servers.
Since Mavi does not collect face data or biometric information, no face data is retained by Mavi. There is no retention period for face data because no such data is collected, generated, stored, or shared.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we may receive, such as support emails or non-identifiable usage data. However, no method of electronic transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention of Information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide support, respond to your requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain the security of our app.
Images and design files created or imported in Mavi are stored locally on your device and remain under your control. You may delete your local images, projects, or exported files from your device at any time.
Mavi does not retain face data because Mavi does not collect, generate, process, or store face data.
